Q&A with Jayne
1. Tell us about your path here. Why did you choose to join TEG Consulting?
I would like to start off by saying that I have been with the TEG Consulting team for over 20 years. I previously spent close to a decade serving leading telecommunications and technology clients around the world as the business development manager for Cable & Wireless Communications. After learning more about TEG Consulting, I really connected to our culture and purpose.
2. Describe a day in the life of Jayne. Favorite parts of your job?
My day involves using similar skills to navigate new challenges. Urgency, agility, and flexibility are essential to what we do. What I most enjoy about recruiting is the unique opportunity to build human connections that help transform clients’ futures and candidates’ lives daily. Not to mention, it’s so satisfying to collaborate with a team that gives its all to provide a great experience to everyone we work with.

4. How has TEG Consulting helped you grow and perform at your best?
Our team has played a large role in my ongoing career development and continues to inspire me to continue learning at every opportunity I get. I am also proud to be a part of a team that values collaboration and empowers me to act like an owner. This level of accountability keeps me driven and motivated to take on responsibilities even beyond my role.
5. In what ways — big or small — do you live out our mission of unleashing human potential?
I always keep our mission top of mind. I believe it is important to remind ourselves that we are all in this for the same positive outcome: changing lives for the better. Matching client with candidate is simply the means of doing that.
6. What advice do you have for people looking to join TEG Consulting? What qualities do people need to be successful here?
This is not an easy business, but you can go to sleep knowing that you have made a difference in someone’s life. You will be most successful here if you are driven, positive, and have a good sense of urgency. You will be in the business of helping others, so a service-mindset is also essential.
